Vertical antenna design programme
This is a great DOS based programme that
I have used time and time again to design 160 and 80m base or centre loaded vertical at a
maximum of 12m using fishing poles (this was my maximum the higher the better) Set the ground loss to 0 and alter the lenght of wire,
size and diameter of coil to get as close as you can to 100% efficiencey, then work on your ground plane
for best DX results! Click here to download.
